Where are you spending Christmas? Page 5
In a hospital, visiting my son. I hope they will relax the 'two visitors only' and 'visiting is for one hour only' rules.
That's really harsh! People in hospital need their friends and family.
That sucks, is he in intensive care?
Offer to do his care (even if you don't) ?

Yes. At Christmas particularly. No doubt the Salvation Army, Women's institute and other great people who give up their time for hospital patients will be allowed in anytime. I think they have as much chance of spreading infection as visitors.
Another idea, pretend to be a chaplain.

Ooo, good one. *rushes off to fancy dress shop*
At home. Drinking and watching DVD's.
Loopy gets kicked out of hospital for dressing as Hitler with a cane
At home.
And if anyone over the age of 5 gives me a cake for Christmas, and tries to pass it off as a 'legit' pressie, they're getting a clip 'round the lughole.
Who gives cake as a present? That's not a thing is it?
Without naming names, some people on here do. I know because they mentioned it last Christmas. Cheapskates.
Oh like baking someone a gift? I thought you meant buying someone a Christmas cake as a gift.
I suppose a home made gift is sweet if you're really poor. It's better than poverty. I make gifts and cards, but they always go along side the bought pressies.

I've never received a cake for Christmas, but I'd like to. I love cake.
Mmmmm, cake. I might have another cake.
