Ha, you have to have a character like that to hate as the zombies themselves aren't really villains.

Ooh, deep. You've got a point!
Although that bloke after his wife is clearly an arsehole too.

Maybe he can come back and then die. At the hands of a black zombie.
Always with the racism zooo. You can definitely tell that Aaron has been rubbing off on you.

You may well roll your eyes, young lady!
Where is Aaron these days anyway?

As enjoyable as I found episode two, it did slightly irk that almost nothing from it was in the comics. The only thing the same was that the same character finds Rick in the city; all the rest of that episode was new, including most of the characters who he meets in the city.
I'm not saying copy the comic word for word, but if you are doing an adaptation, well, why not adapt what it is you're supposed to be adapting? Why all these new characters and events?

They're different mediums - let the makers do what they want. It doesn't affect the comics. And Watchmen proved that if you're too faithful it's not always that succesful.

That's not what I mean, of course they have to make it their own, I wouldn't want a blow by blow copy, it just seems very odd to have all these new characters, the comic wasn't short on them, there's plenty to explore in there in whatever way you want; instead they had the rather tiresome black guy and mental racist thing. If you're going to just invent stuff, at least make it good stuff.
Nowt wrong with Watchmen.

No, I like Watchmen the movie, and the opening is awesome, but it didn't really make the same sort of impact the graphic novel did.

*Googles* Quite.

Different world now to what it was when it came out first. It'd never have the same impact.
