Shows that you hate Page 6

I hate the garish bbc 3 comedies two pints, lunch monkeys, coming of age.

also not a show but just watched wall street 2, utter utter garbage.

I have to agree with Nat about the wire though, in my opinion it is the pinnacle of american television I have never been fond of dramas but devoured all 5 series in 3 days.

I have watched the corner too which I also thought was awesome.

Say whaaat?!

I like marathon episodes but that's just bonkers. Bonkers, I say.

Wait, all five series in 3 days? Aren't they 12 1 hour episodes per season? That's some serious commitment.

The Wire is good but I can think of loads of shows that are better. 24. The Sopranos. The Shield. Battlestar Galactica. Alias. Oz. Boston Legal. Etc.

Oz is one of my favourites ever.

Yes, I like a good shanking too.

Battlestar is amazing! Caprica, on the other hand, as Nil would say, is pants.

24 is approximately .000000001x as good as The Wire.

The writing maybe better in The Wire, but 24 is a darned sight more exciting. Sure, it was slightly ridiculous, and was like a rightwingers wet dream, but it was edge of the seat stuff.

24 totally lost me yonks ago

It jumped the shark when they had a made boredly cleaning aroom.

Whilst outside the window there's a mushroom cloud

Yeah, it got increasingly outlandish and kept having to outdo itself, but it was still an adrenlin-pumping show.

First season was aces

I like more downbeat and convincing spy series

I quite liked Caprica, but boy did it drag in the end and I hated all the characters

I watched the first two series of 24. Was too much after that.

I liked the show but it would have been better with 4 6-hour plots or 6 4-hour plots.
