Both films may have admirable qualities, but he's bad in both. And the plot Dodgeball was so flimsily formulaic I kept rewinding the DVD, looking for the Farrelly brothers names on the credits.
Oh, and Step Brothers is possibly one of the worst films I've ever seen, but for some reason I enjoyed it. But the message for John C Reilly is - get back to straight roles in low-budget indie flicks - now!
Anyway, I watched The Wrestler for the first time tonight... (I'm hip to the Zeitgeist, me) Brilliant performance by Rourke, but the film as a whole didn't work. The focus was so on Mickey's performance that the plot just seemed tagged-on, underdeveloped and the ending ultimately unfulfilling. I really didn't care enough what happened to the lead character in the denouement, because he didn't really gain any depth whatsoever. The story actually felt really rushed, as though a longer and more interesting film had been butchered in the editing suite. There were also too many scenes which neither a) advanced the plot, b) told you anything new about the characters, or c) were interesting enough in themselves to be worthwhile of inclusion. All the supporting characters were rather clichéd and just there to service the lead's wayward story. Not a terrible film, but nothing special either.
Back on comedy, my prediction is that Due Date is going to be up there for most over-hyped & abysmal comedy movie of the year. Does anyone know whether or not the writer/director behind this paid-up, or just stole the whole premise behind Planes, Trains & Automobiles in order to make this? (RIP John Hughes.)

The Wrestler is one of my top ten movies of all times I think. It's so beautifully performed, it makes me weep like a child.
I agree with Tim. Plus, it overused that Rourkes-back shot too much.
Does anyone watch a web series called The Guild? It's free to watch on YouTube. I'm about seven episodes into the first series; it's good!

I enjoyed his "unrecognizableness" in Sin City.
Death by Engagement. A horror film about a cursed engagement ring. A bit rubbish, but at least its grasp exceeded its reach. Now I'm watching the end of The Cannonball Run.

Naa Tony Stark is like Bruce Wayne except cool.
My youngest does a spot on version of the going to the bathroom line, as well as the Gallagher one.
