I just made it up as I went along, might need a bit of tweaking...

Recipe:
100g butter (I actually used 50g Butter + 50g Olive Oil*)
100g sugar (or just over)
Vanilla Essence 1-2 tsp.

Mix until creamy.

Add...

50g Rolled Oat Flakes
5g Flax Seeds
20g Oatmeal (I think I used too much)
30g Wholemeal/Wholewheat/Brown Flour
50g Plain/SF flour.

Bake at 180c for exactly 8 mins! I love my 8 minute rule on cookies, it works every time.

Oh, and let them cool down. They will go firmer as they cool.

Okay?

*I know I shouldn't weigh oil in GRAMS but it was near enough, plus I didn't have enough butter.

Are there any standupy people online who I can run a couple of jokes past?

I love job interviews. One of my strong points.

Morning all.

When I was interviewing for computer programmers back in the 70's I sometimes used to give them one of those wire & rope puzzles or similar things and watch how they tackled them.

Hobnobz:

This is either a very large, yet edible, domino or the control panel on a biscuit making machine...or stone age version of Pac Man.

All of the above! :D

Thanks for the recipe, Leevil!
Might try that one day.

Cool, let me know how it goes. That makes about 12. It's normally custom to double the recipe but like I said, I didn't have enough butter and sandwiches are my true priority.

:)

Then to try ones with chocolate on top!

Oh, yeah! If only I had chocolate or even chocolate chips in them! Lovey

I have a recipe for Oreos I'm dying to try. But it requires a certain kind of chocolate powder we haven't got around to finding/buying yet.

OMGZ They do taste like 'em! But freshly warm homemade stylee!

Might need to slightly tweak the ratios next time. But YUM.

Recipe please!

I'm trying to make 4 different types of ice cream, without a maker. No idea what they'll end up like though.

I've tried to make ice cream before without a maker. I've only managed it once, and that was just Okay I think. But it was Tofu Ice Cream which I will admit is probably the worst ice cream.... EVER.

Nice to know there's another thing that Tofu tastes crap in.

They do soya yoghurt, why not try making frozen yoghurt with it, if you want a dairy-free iced thing?

I think the recipe was tofu, soya yogurt and soya milk blended? I can't remember now how good it actually was. We ate it, I remember that. But like I said frozen tofu deserts in general are bland IMO.

I'm not too fused about a dairy-free iced thing. I eat normal ice cream anyway. It's her-indoors whose the non dairy eater. She eats the Alpro yogurts happily enough. Which are very nice, I must say.

In a very strange mood today.
