Can't be, as there are only a little more than a million animal species on the planet and that includes insects. That website is either counting stuff like bacteria or, as I suspect, exaggerating the figure.

Could be including plants aswell.

I was sure I read somewhere that the estimated number of animal species (including insects) was anywhere up to 100 million, and there were about 1.4 million known animal species.
