Clockwise

This John Cleese film has been mentioned on another thread recently.

It's a film that when it's going to be on I think I won't bother watching, but end up doing so and enjoying it.

I always remember being impressed by the girl in it - and quite fancying her. I wondered if she went on to do anything else.

Then it occurred to me how much she reminded me of Caroline Catz. Does anyone know if it was her?

Let me introduce you to this website:

Not as far as I am, nor IMDb is, aware.

Bloody good film though. Very enjoyable. And I actually bought a copy of The News of the World because it came with a free DVD. 33p or something. Bargain! :D

Maybe I've got it somewhere come to think of it.

Trouble is you get so many of those after a while.

So is anyone going to tell me? I didn't see Laura's name in the cast.

Sharon Maiden

Thank you. Has she ever done anything else?

Yes. You lazy bastard.

LOL! How many more links! :)

I'm sure on release the reviews weren't very good, but I liked it at the time, saw it again recently and found it held up pretty well. Easy to get sucked into watching if its on tv.

Yes, definitely with you on that one. Impossible not to watch if I spot it on!

Thank you. What was she in then?

I know it's controversial but I always thought Clockwise a better JC big-screen outing than A Fish Called Wanda.

But then Clockwise didn't have an incredibly sexy Jamie Leigh Curtis did it!

Or an Oscar win.
