I rate Bowfinger, Martin and Murphy in decent comedy shocker, they must have cancelled each other out.

Ah, I f**king love Steve Martin. Like you say, his early work is eye-wateringly brilliant.
Who knows, maybe in 20 years we can look upon this generation through rose-tinted glasses?
Quote: Matthew Stott @ November 3 2010, 11:00 PM GMTStiller certainly is, as he's headlined several great ones, and been great in them.
He certainly is the leader of the pack.

I quite like serious Steve Martin too. He's great in The Spanish Prisoner, playing a conman.
Quote: Matthew Stott @ November 3 2010, 10:46 PM GMTYou didn't like Anchorman and call yourself a Ferrell fan?! Anchorman is his standout movie.
You even left Nat speechless.
Anchorman is good.
But is it a little overrated?
But then I liked the one where he's a football coach, so I may not be 100% sure what's good & what's not.
I tired of watching the 'Frat Pack' years ago: 40-year-old men behaving like teenagers, etc.
Vaughn, Black, and Stiller, stroll on, you amateurs.
Comedy master, Reg Varney, conquered this type of role on On The Buses - and will never be bettered.
Don doesn't say much, but he always hit's the nail on the head.
Watched The Time Traveler's Wife last night. Terrible film. Still cried like a girl at the end.

No. No it is not.
I saw some people in a Mr. Toad style car today!
Clash of the Titans. I know, I know, but I quite enjoyed it.
It looks like toss.
