I was simply suggesting that the cliff-hanger - as per the last Sitcom Trials- ending is a very shit idea. It shortens the already short form and does not allow most of the writers to show that they can bring a story to a satisfactory conclusion. Knowing Si and Dec a little I am confident they see the problems as well as we can.

Format: 1 initial 15 minute script. Then if you're through to the next round, 2 further 15 minute scripts.
Live shows: 8 sitcoms will be performed live.

Anyone done/doing a workshop? Worthwhile? I'm thinking that that 15th January one sounds a little too perfectly timed for re-drafting to miss, but £75 would make quite a big dent.
I've heard nothing but praise for the workshops, so I'd go for it. It might be an inspired £75!
I somehow blagged my way into the live shows in the 2010 Sitcom Mission and I didn't go to one of the workshops, but I wish I had. When I look back now there are so many things I'd change.
So yes. Go to the workshop!

On the NaNo at the moment (November that is) and plan to rework something for BBC Writers Room after that. However I do have something possibly for this.
The workshops are well worth every penny...go for it. Yes a new thread for sitcommission should be set up but I'm not brave enough....go on someone do a new thread
