The first episode I thought was shocking, especially the lame door opening scene and the blatant Gervais impression. I had to turn it off after 15 minutes as I couldn't watch anymore.
However...
I decided to give it another chance on 4OD and episode Two was a huge improvement. This week had some very funny moments in, I don't remember any obvious Gervais impressions in episode 2 either which was a relief.
The guys running in the high street (and stopping outside Vodafone!! ) to help their buddy out was a nice moment. It made me like the characters a little bit more rather than them just being Ali G./Tim Westwood stereotypes. The coaching Sad Moment/Brave smile bits had me giggling like an idiot.
I'm glad I checked out episode 2, it's definitely worth giving it another chance. Especially if it keeps improving as the writers find their feet with the characters.
