Time Team

Time Team

Haha, very good. :D

There's not much to critique here, son.

All you have is some Time Team footage, with The A-Team feem choon running over the top.

It's far too easy, and therefore doesn't have any 'value'.

I enjoyed Don's review more than the original video which dispenses it's pun after 21 seconds but for some reason goes on for more than another minute.

I think I appreciate the effort more. I'm not sure what your experiences of editing video are don & GT. But sometimes it can be a real pain. But for a (not-so) quickie it works quite well. The joke doesn't justify spending any more time on making it look more authentic. I've seen far worse on YT.

Well I used to work as a video editor, Leevil, since you ask. Mikado's video has only two edits - replacing the time team music and the insert of him saying 'Time'. It would have taken longer to import the assets than do the edit.

That's not the point of course. I don't even think it's a bad joke, I was just making the point that I enjoyed Don's comment more.

I presumed he used different clips as the channel's logo appears in different scenes.

I didn't recognise all the people-Phil, Mike, Caranza and Robin, but who was the other girl? And there was another man as well? Spoilt it a bit.

You must remember Victor Ambrus! I think he must have illustrated half the books I read as a kid. And he is still on the Team, unlike Robin and Carenza who are long gone. (Carenza was most recently to be spotted doing dull things with graphs on Michael Wood's a History of England.) Must confess I don't remember the other woman - was she on GeoPhys?

Anyway, the incongruity raised a smile.

Hello all - thanks for taking the time to watch and leave feedback, really pleased if it made anyone smile/laugh, for the record there are eighteen edits before the credit's run.

I'm a storyboard artist by trade, Lee, so this caper ain't too far from my comfort zone.

When I used the word 'easy' I was referring to the idea really, not the 'manufacture'.

Had matey boy put this together 20 years ago, aged 10, and sent it to Going Live!, they'd have probably given him a bagful of prizes.

But - for something made by a grown man - the concept isn't inventive enough, to have wasted ANY time on.

Okay, fair enough. You both 'showed me' what with your expertise n that. :)

It's a little rough but! made me laugh. So mission accomplished.

Indeed and I'm a astronaut. So you know we can all make believe.

Thank you Gavin, it seems to have worked just as intended!

Very good, could be trimmed a tad maybe. :)
