The Audition is that horror thing, right? If so that is a really great flick.

Yeh. Oh excellent. Maybe it'll be a Decent film sunday then.

The Walking Dead pilot was amazing. Really REALLY good zombie effects - some of the best I've seen. Can't wait for the series - anyone know when it starts proper?

The first episode shows tonight, then it continues on the 7th November. :)

Well, the pilot airs properly tonight in America, then I think it just carries on the next week. Reviews I've read have certainly mentioned having seen the next two episodes. It's a short series, too; I think there are less than ten episodes in this first run. Which I like.

I believe there are 6 episodes in the first season.

Can't wait!!!!!!!

Zombies have never invaded TV before.

Seek out a brit show from a couple of years back, Dead Set, a mini-series, excellent.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to look for it.

Daylight. The disaster movie about people trapped in a tunnel. It's one of the better mid-period Stallone's.

The dog makes it!

Audition was okay. Certainly not the best of it's genre, but a good movie.

I LOVE Dead Set- lent the DVD to my friend last night in order to educate.

Tonight we will be watching Scott Pilgrim (saw this in cinema land, but Dan didn't) and possibly the Walking Dead pilot.

Juno better than Master and Commander?

That's just so wrong.

Aw, but it's so cute! Michael Cera and Ellen Page sitting outside with the guitar, singing that song at the end, just the two of them, young, happy and in love... Excuse me...

*rushes to bathroom to throw-up* Sick

It's a yucky bit of right wing propaganda that isn't a quater as clever as it thinks it is.

Any one who likes this film should be sent to John Hughes reedcuation gulag.

Coincidentally, the screenplay I've just finished (and which I'm nervously awaiting feedback upon) has a whole scene set at a fancy dress party, the theme of which is John Hughes 80s teen comedies, with one character having a whole monologue on the genius and importance of John Hughes' teen movies.

(I'm not expecting it to sell, frankly...)
