Hi, thanks for your reply. Firstly I should let you know there is no money to pay anyone at this stage. It is all speculative work, as someone who has written for various websites, including my own,submitted several sitcom scripts to ITV, BBc etc, and who came close to a very lucrative deal a couple of years ago through the very same idea as i'm doing now, this is the best i can offer.

News Sensation looks well produced.
I think you need to change your 'business model' though - there's no doubt quite a few people like myself who would happily read it if it were free, but are not going to pay money for it (sorry, but, you're competing against satirical websites that are free).
That doesn't mean you can't still cover your costs - if you adopt an advertising model instead that should make up for your lost download sales.
Just a thought.
We seem to have two threads about this so its a bit confusing.
Anyway, I agree with Mark. I also run a few satirical website and its hard to drum up an audience when you charge people. You can make a reasonable amount via advertising if you get big enough.
Also if writers aren't getting paid then will they still have to pay to view their work? I'd like to read your mag but I'm not too keen on paying someone so that I can help them out.
I think I applied for this when it first appeared, then I vanished due to...well, they never found the bodies.
Anyway, I'm back now. Can I get involved in this? I'm sat here bored.
