Just woke up.

There's a discrepancy between how much tickets cost and how much you pay. Something may be advertised at £25 but end up in the region of £30 or even £30 and end up in the region of £35.

I think Americans are probably well acquainted with the price gouging that 'entertainment' and ticket companies engage in though.

Ticketmaster is pretty much the only game in town. More than once I've purchased a ticket for a small show where the "convenience" fees were more than the face value of the ticket. My biggest peeve is their "print it now" scam. They'll always mail your tickets free, but if you want to download a PDF and print it yourself (saving them postage and handling and envelopes and ticket printing fees) you'll have to pay $2.50.

Aberystwyth Beer Festival, excellent day, had a few nice real ales. However the night has been overshadowed as on the way home I got attacked by some thug and am in a lot of pain this morning mentally and physically. Nothing like this has ever happened to me.

Sorry to hear it. I hope they catch the bastard. I'll never understand random violence against strangers.

Just woke up.

Nice sleepy time?

Come on day just f**k off already. URGH!

I seem to have put my boxers on back-to-front.

Makes number ones tricky.

Number twos, however...

Ewwwwwwwwwwww! That's gross.

Lady in the office just paid £155 for a Take That ticket.

:O

My mate got 8 at £60 each.

The thing is, they'll be doing new dates... just got to be patient - not pay stupid amounts for them.

Ouch, £500ish. Hope they're paying her back for them!

Yeah I'm guessing so, although if you can sell them for £200 then quids in!

Ahh...

There's nothing like the first Pot Noodle of the day.

First?

I haven't eaten a pot noodle since uni!

Same here. They've never done it for me.
