Last time I hugged someone in Leeds I woke up 3 days later on a raft 100 miles of coast of Japan, with a sore arse a big hat and 1,000 in Yen.

In fairness it was what you wanted.

When do the clocks go back?

Quote: zooo @ October 29 2010, 9:40 AM BST

Hmm. Depends. For a big stadium type thing, probably about £30?

I don't tend to go to big stadium ones though, so I don't know.

I've only ever been to one big gig, ages ago. Joan Baez at the old Wembly Stadium.

Laurence Marks was here at my house about an hour ago, to collect his new laptop.

How much do concert tickets usually cost over there?

There's a discrepancy between how much tickets cost and how much you pay. Something may be advertised at £25 but end up in the region of £30 or even £30 and end up in the region of £35.

I think Americans are probably well acquainted with the price gouging that 'entertainment' and ticket companies engage in though.

I was gonna try to get some Take That tickets for the missus but Sarah Millican just tweeted that two tickets were going to cost £400 and she refuses to pay that much.
I think I agree with her.

I would be surprised if they cost that much. I just went to check for myself and haven't got through yet, but the first Google result for 'Take That Tickets 2011' is a tout website I think... bet loads of people are being taken in by that. :(

She said that was for a seat - might be cheaper for standing only.
