INT DAY PUBLIC HOUSE

TWO MEN CHATTING AT THE BAR (BILL & TED)

BILL
I like living in London Ted but it is very expensive

TED
Oh I know, I filled my car up last week
Cost nearly £100

BILL
It used to cost me that much too but I have
found a very cheap garage. £1.10 a litre it
only costs me about £60 to fill it to the brim.

TED
£1.10 a litre, where's that I'll fill mine there.

BILL
(looking around to check no one is listening)
A little garage just outside Leeds. I nip up there every
two or three days and fill it to the top.

nice one! good sketch

Is this a true story?

No Stephen. As with most of my 'critiques' they are part of a larger script.

The bits I am not sure work or need revision. They are all though, 1st drafts.

I did notice the big price difference in petrol prices between darn sarf and oop north

You could make it Dublin (which involves a Ferry fee) and just once a week, but I'm not sure of the relative price of petrol in Dublin & London.
