Let The Right One In is a truly great movie. And yes, it is horror. There's a lot of other stuff about childhood and loneliness ut there's also quite a few chilling moments. If you don't think somebody being hung upside from a tree and drained of their blood is horror then I don't know what is!
As for the remake. I'm all for them. Both Insomnia and The Departed were cracking films based on foreign originals. And Let Me In has got some very good reviews so far.
What was The Departed based on? I liked that one.
