It should be a legal requirement to watch Ghostbusters.

And Back To The Future.
And Goonies.

A lady after my own heart. :)

I'll stir fry you in my WIP...(That didn't work but if I stand here with my arms crossed looking angry I might get away with it)

Even a lame attempt at a Beastie Boys reference is fine by me. :)

I'll now consider that a roaring success. :D

Guh my job is up on our works intranet now. Applying for your own job isn't fun :( still, there's no reason I shouldn't get it- there are 4 vacancies and I'm already doing the job. Have to write an expression of interest first. It will go:

This is my job, so I want to keep it because I am very good at it.

Dicks.

Wha? Why do you have to apply for your own job? Is it a contract? Going through redundancies?

Sounds pointless in the extreme. Unlucky :(

I'm not permanent in this job, technically I'm still a Team Leader for another department on a secondment. So I' m applying for the perm role. If I didn't get it, I'd still have a job. Albeit one I didn't want.

Even though I've been going the job for 6 months nearly, it's a big public sector commission- got to go by the rules unfortunately.

Awww I see :( that sucks.

Meh's all good. Honestly there is no reason I shouldn't get it- I was the only person to get one of the 4 the last time round (out of a LOT of aplicants) and that was before I had any proper experience. Now I've been doing the job (well) for 6 months, I should be fine. If I don't get it then I've only got myself to blame.

You'd have to be a real f**kwit to apply for your own job and not get it. I should add that this has happened to me.
