It iiiis! I keep delving further into the subject and realising that it's a lot more difficult than it seems.

And nobody to enjoy it with, Gav. :(

Always making :D

Good luck. If need help give us a shout.

Kind of cold here today, so I have decided to start my winter knitting and crocheting early. Lots of hats, gloves, and sweaters to be made.

I bought wool for my mum to teach me to knit a scarf TWO YEARS ago.

I should actually do it at some point.

Knitting is easy, once you get the hang of it. But I personally like crocheting better. It's much harder for me to accidentally hurt myself.

I could knit when I was little, my nan taught me. But it's definitely not like riding a bike. I can't remember a thing.

Cleaned the house, so is sporting a 1940s style headscarf. Looking surprisingly cool.

I learned from my gran too. The hardest part for me is reading the patterns. I usually have to wait till the kids aren't around to do anything that requires a pattern. They're way too distracting.

I bet if you looked online you could find a site that does a decent job of showing how to get started.

Ooh yeah, there's probably a video on YouTube!

That's how I learned to use a spinning wheel.

Not from reading Sleeping Beauty?

Nope, but that might have been a good idea.
