Nope. Neither the good nor the bad variety.

Things just weren't working out for her there. She ran away twice. She just didn't fit into their strict lifestyle. My house has rules but room for individuality. I'm super happy.
Aren't there some more kids? They will all gradually end up with you I reckon.
Yeah, there's Jack and Sophie too. Things are working out okay with them I guess. But they're much younger.
Maybe a kidnapping is in order.
Are you having them all together over Christmas?
Who are they to you? Nieces/nephews?
That is still under debate. It's kind of hard. I was put under a lot of pressure by family to let my husband's cousin and wife take the kids. They were better off financially than we were and owned a massive house. Things worked for them for a few months and then Apryl began having problems. Her adoptive mother is a fringe straightener, very controlling and clingy. Apryl's been through so much. She just wants to be herself and Nicole was pushing her to do sports and all kinds of activities. The second time she tried to run away she was planning on coming to me. so there's been lots of talk with lawyers and judges and it looks like she'll be coming here. The younger ones are here every other weekend. At times I guess they are just too much for them. I love having all 6 kids together. The house is chaotic, but they are so happy. I wish I hadn't been bullied into not taking them.

Sorry Nat. This all happened before you joined. The kids are my husband's cousin's kids. Their mom passed away, no dad in the picture, and we were going to take them. His extended family felt they would be better off with another cousin and wife who were childless. It's not working out so well for the oldest, so she's joining us. So that brings my total to 4.
Ah okay that makes sense. Sounds like they would be much better with you.
