I remember my Mum saying that the Doctor went on to become the Queens Doctor.
I think it was a complicated one, the first Caesarian under epidural.
I just Googled the Doctor out of interest, and it turns out he did become the Queens Gynaecologist & delivered both Princes William & Harry as well.
That's not really what the thread is about though is it.

The doctor who delivered me in Las Vegas was the ring doctor at every major prize fight. My father used to point him out as we'd watch Muhammad Ali kick ass in the 70s. Looks like he also treated Elvis, Red Skelton, Ann-Margret and Debbie Reynolds:
