something I made...old water tank copper sheet, currently in doing a pewter bowl, which I've been hitting with a hammer all day.

Nice!!
I like that!
wow! looks awesome!
Well done.
This is a cut-out test. I've animated the actual drawing I drew on paper. Not sure what this technique is called but it's just a test.
He's a bit weird looking without any eyes, mouth or groin.

If anyone knows what this is technique called and would care to share the name, I would be oh-so-very grateful.
Well thanks.

"Stop motion"?
Isn't that more like Wallace & Gromit stuff? When I say cut-out I meant digitally.

I think "stop motion" covers anything that's static but made to move through single frame animation.Wallace and Gromit and SouthPark...

Well, you could yes, its 11 inches across , made of copper from a 1940's yacht water tank. I started out with a 12" flat disk and beat with a ball ended hammer, on wet sand, seemingly for ever, forming the bowl. Drew on the hares which are a traditional design , but I saw it used as a "tinners mark" (http://www.threehares.net/) I polished it bright then patinaed it with my secret liquid (ok you twisted my arm , its Lidles liquid plant food, which contains ammonia salts that create the verdigris)Then I polished it with "Renaissance Wax" as recommended by the British Museum. Last one I sold was £80.
I'm workign on a more elaborate Pewter one at the moment, which might not work, celtic running dogs round the outside!.

I like the fanny that the tabs on the legs create.
I did that with you in mind or more importantly your fanny.
