Girl Interupted is brilliant.

Meh.

It's okay, but it wants to be Cuckoos Nest but isn't. Not least because the institution she's in isn't so bad. It's actually a good place.
Quote: Matthew Stott @ October 7 2010, 8:53 PM BSTRourke should play Batman in an adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns. He'd be brilliant, and his pummled face would even fit as he would have been smacked about a lot over the years! He'd have to have a haircut thought, get rid of that weird, long greasy mess he's rocking.
I have to say that is a good call. Who would want for Superman and the Joker?

Agreed. It's great. They all are brilliant actors in that.

Maybe Gary Oldman could pull his old crazy pants back on again and play The Joker?
Or Al Pacino!

Al Pacino, nice. Jeff Bridges? Alec Baldwin for aged Superman?

Might that be a bit confusing, what with Oldman already playing Commissioner Gordon?

He'd act different, and drop the 'tache.

Commissioner Gordon:
Right you go and get the Joker Batman
I'm just going to pop out & make a phone call ahem.
Don't go quite yet, give it 5 minutes.
Quote: Nat Wicks @ October 7 2010, 8:30 PM BSTI got the original Price House on Haunted Hill DVD for £1 from the pound shop a couple of years ago. I keep meaning to watch it but Dan doesn't like old movies and I'm too much of a scaredy to watch it alone!
It's more funny than scary, though I did get a bit scared a couple of times...

I'll give it a whirl and see what happens!
I never thought I would be saying this, after first seeing him all those years ago in Good Will Hunting, but (as has been mentioned) Matt Damon is turning into the best actor of his generation. A genuinely versatile performer, who shows a great deal of intelligence both on screen and in his choice of roles.
Superb in The Talented Mr Ripley, another "small" film he gave a brilliant performance in was (the very under-rated, imo) Syriana.
Yes Matt Damon is a lot better than his cherrub-taking-a-shit face would suggest.
