How do you picture a Daily Mail reader?

Just out of curiosity really.

Twin set?

Suit, polished shoes but no tie ? (Hey, look. That's what we do these days. OK?)

'Normal?'

Major Misunderstanding ? (for Viz readers)

Unfortunately Oldrocker it's more likely to be an ordinary-looking person of average intelligence. Most people are hateful, reactionary shitbags.

I really don't get the whole hate the 'Daily Mail reader' thing.

I read it, as I do other papers. Why is there such intolerance towards DM readers, aren't you judging them for being judgmental, making you judgmental too?

To paraphrase the lovely Marc P
It does have a good crossword
Blood Work & Hard Evidence still available from all good bookshops

I also sometimes read the other pages.
But I read the Sun to make up for it

How very dare you?

"snigger"

By coincidence, I was perusing the Daily Mail online just a few minutes ago, reading about a newly discovered bat (and other new animal) species in Papua New Guinea. While I enjoy reading about biodiversity, I did find the tone of the Mail article somewhat flippant - given that its news angle is the bat's resemblance to Yoda and not that ongoing deforestation - partly to satisfy Western demand for cheap shelves - could wipe out such species.

Commuter belt. Daily Mail. Sun. Men with the same haircuts.

I think most people by a newspaper for the crossword/cartoon/sports coverage/salacious gossip/out of force of habit (the last being surely the only possible reason for buying the Daily Express). I am not sure anyone takes the political stance very seriously.

They're just human beings, much like you or I.

As if we can afford to buy papers!
He reads the free London ones. :)

It does indeed, I have recently been tackling The Times crossword too - and also The Week's. For light relief I dash off the EDP.

Should we tolerate intolerance? The answer is: we'd rather not, but how else would you deal with it?

Yes but at least I'm not a Daily Mail reader.

Most papers are rubbish. I judge aaaaall of their readers.
