Eccentric peer Lord Bleasham (John Le Mesurier) resides at the family seat in Somerset but has fallen upon hard times.
This sounds like a really interesting series. Has it been released on DVD and are there any plans to if it hasn't?

They'd struggle - only the first episode exists.
(Not sure about the pilot, but unlikely.)
Pity though, I've always thought it sounds well worth seeing.
Really? That's such a same. It does sound like my sort of thing. I'm a big John Le Mesurier fan so I would have loved to have seen it.
Terrible title though.
I'd have called it Back to Class by himself

Really? It's not that bad.

Well you're not very orginal then, are you?

If you're going to have a title which is meant to sound like a phrase in common usage, then probably best to choose a phrase which is in common usage.

True and I take your point. Something like In a Class of His Own would have been better if it wasn't already a title.
James, you can still see John Le Mesurier in Barry McKenzie Holds His Own: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PfDro1UGUo

Thanks I've seen it before. Wasn't it one of John Le Mesurier last films? His last was The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu I do believe.
No, not really "one of his last films" as it was made in 1974 - quite a few years before he died (and had appeared in more films).
