No, but I've written for them before. So I know the shit they take.

E.T > District 9

And now you're rubbishing their outreach program for the intellectually disabled.

Clash of The Titans.

It was shit.

Machete. It was awesome.

Ooo!

I just watched the new Robin Hood. Meh.

Yes, we rented it. Very meh.

I have that to watch. *excited*

The Australian Football League 2010 Grand Final. Wonderfully exciting, tense game. Ended in a tie, only the third in history.

It was dead good. Exactly what you'd expect :D

Cool

Porterhouse Blue, the 1987 Channel 4 dramatization of the the Tom Sharpe novel. The opening scene of a college don having trouble negotiating a doorway because of his open umbrella nearly made me turn it off, but I persisted. Excellent cast, music and theme tune. David Jason superb and good to see Charles Gray (Blofeld and narrator of Rocky Horror Picture Show). Griff Rhys Jones fun too.

A Few Good Men. With Sorkin's Facebook film out soon I thought I'd watch his first effort again. "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!"

Rushmore
I Heart Huckabees
The life aquatic with Steve Zissou
Hmmmm
Not really sure about any of them.

There ends Steve Sunshines indepth crtique half hour.

Wes Anderson is a very self-indulgent director. All his films have good (if not great) moments, but are flawed due to a) generally being over-long and b) having an air of unbearable smugness about them.

I'm glad you said that.
What is considered to be his best movie out of interest?

Personally, I'd choose Rushmore, but the critics have always have juicy hard-ons for The Royal Tenanbaums - which is very over-rated imo.

Interestingly, the best Wes Anderson movie is I Heart Hucarbees. Unfortunately for Wes, it was written and directed by David O. Russell. However, it is still the best example of a great Wes Anderson film.
