Norman Wisdom Page 3

God Bless you Norman... legend!

A comic actor of the old school. Totally imitable (well he was...)

So,
Farewell then

You asked

Am I?"

You were

And now it has happened . .

Thank you for everything Norman. Another one of the true greats leaves us.

:(

A genuine legend.

Oh No Mr Grimsdale! :(

RIP Norman

Was watching BBC news without the sound and saw they were showing footage of him. I feared the worst and went to the bbc website.

Alas poor Norman

I hope they have the decency to clumsily drop his coffin in the grave to the sound of a swanee whistle.

RIP Norman. Loved his films when I was a nipper.

Incidentally, I wonder if all those strokes he had went unregarded because the nursing home staff thought he was doing a bit of his old act.

As you read these words, all our no-longer-Earthbound loved ones are seated in a colossal and sumptously old-fashioned Heavenly music hall in which the compere's Stentorian tones are ringing out "And now, ladies and gentlemen, your own . . . your very own . . ."

How very sad. I met him once about 17 years ago and got his autograph. He was very friendly.

I've seen very little of him, I think I saw him once during an episode of 'Last of the Summer Wine' but that's all I think. RIP Norman.

I used to LOVE him when I was little. I believe I saw him in a pantomime.

I saw him do a gig in the 1980s. He was very good, but he didn't half milk that audience.
