What are you gaming? Page 53

I would have preferred to have been in Gotham though and been able to drive the batcar around, smashing into pedestrians etc. Running around the island got boring very quickly - there was absolutely no sense of one place being different to another.

Then you will enjoy the next game!

I do that. Although there's another game taking up a lot of my time too - I rented it can can't remember the name of it right now but it involves a lot of paragliding into bases and shooting shit up. It's frighteningly huge so I fear the repetetive strain of it will set in before I complete the thing.

Just Cause 2? Keep meaning to get that.

I nearly bought a PS3 Move controller whilst at Asda, but I managed to stop myself (for now).

That's the one. Good game. Awful cut scenes.

Are you an XBox user, Nat?

XBox is for chumps. PS3 is where it's at.

I keep fighting the urge. Going to wait for more games first.

I've downloaded the demo games (from the starter pack) over PSN Network, and I have the camera already. Just need the controller. But in the words of Mick Hucknall, "Is that my hair that stinks?" "Money's too tight to mention."

Yep, absolutely. I will wait until after Christmas.

Well, not the players, but perhaps "it".

Not sure how long this has been active but ONlive gaming service now works in UK or for me at least :D

High-end gaming on low-end computers.

It's a bit wobbly though.

All well and good if you didn't have to pay so much for the games.

I lost a whole day to Red Dead Redemption at the weekend. It really is close to perfect. And utterly beautiful. Beats the crap out of GTA 4.

Civ 5 has so far failed to impress.

I concur! It's great fun. And Marsden is a brilliant lead characer.

One of the best video game characters I've ever played.

And that bit when he first crosses into Mexico, the Jose Gonzalez kicks in... one of my favourite gaming moments of all time.

I'm about 70% of the way through at the moment, and it looks like it's building up to a cracking conclusion.

I've yet to finish a game. I can't quite put my finger on why it's not engaging me as much as the previous games.

Possibly because it seems to be quite a lot slower than Civ IV.

I was not expending the end. I shall say no more. IT'S VERY GOOD.

Depends how you play. I start war about turn 100. Then destroy every city and AI player.

It takes a good 150 turns before can do anything really. I'm totally loving it though.
