My ex was circumcised as he was Muslim... I quite liked it. But yes, I agree that it shouldn't be done just BECAUSE.
Male Circumcision Page 2
One thing the Amish get absolutely right is the concept of Annabaptism.
That is you teach kids about your faith, but the choice to take it on is only valid as an adult.
So all these year I've been called an insensitive prick, it's been true?

Really why?
Is it because a less sensitive dinkle goes off later in the love making?
Or was it, it's stylish ressemblence to a world war2 german soldier?

He was my second proper boyfriend and I guess sex was nicer and looked nicer.
In this day and age, to still do this is a little barbaric. If you choose to get it done to yourself though, fine. You're weird, but fine.
I dunno it's defnitely more aesthetically pleasing to look at. And you earn abit more in the porn industry.
Plus no one can call you a complete dick anymore.
I certainly don't feel traumatised by having been circumcised when I was a baby and I've had a couple of girlfriends who said they preferred it.
Hooray a fellow round head?
So are you a Septic, a Kike or a Haji or African?
None of the above.
Some sort of medical reason which appears to run in the family - me, my father and his father that I know of at least. With a baby boy due at the end of October it's obviously a subject that will need to be considered for him as well but I've forgotten exactly what the issue was to be honest (really should ask my parents again at some point!) From what I remember, it was nothing hugely serious and was preventative rather than reactive so it may be that circumcision isn't necessarily the best or only way to deal with it these days, seeing as we're living in the future now.

Well of course, you were a baby, I dare say you don't remember it. It's the lack of choice about having your body mutilated that's the issue. Of course if you grow up never having known owning a foreskin, or toe nails, or ear lobes, or whatever else then you probably won't think it a big deal.

No, I agree with the lack of choice thing, I was just saying that I don't think trauma in later life is a reason for disagreeing with the practice.
See my post above. It's wasn't a cultural thing.
They can replace foreskins doncha' know? And in the US angry Jews are suing their parents for the cost of the operation (I think it involves hanging weights from the bellend?)

When things go really really wrong, this could have happened to any of the BCG ladies.
I've always had a foreskin, then digging into my family tree I discovered that I was part Jewish. I thought that I should keep with the traditions of my roots, and decided get the thing snipped, but when I went the doctors he was able to determine that part of me that was actually Jewish, was ironically my foreskin, and should I have it removed I would no longer have any Jewish parts. oye, what a dilemma.

I'd say being brought up believing in a Godless Xmas and Santa is a far worse form of abuse.

Tip of the iceberg or the Goldberg?
I don't understand why it's not considered child abuse. You're taking a child and mutilating it against its consent. I don't care about your beliefs or your faith, unless there's a medical necessity for the procedure to be carried out, you're a child abuser.
PS. I have a foreskin.
TMI.
