But they do? Father Christmas doesn't put it out for himself does he?
Or did you just write that wrong...?

This is a good point! Laughing out loud

Ellie is very pleased to have weighed herself and has lost half a stone. :)

Meaning that since January 2008 she's lost 3 stone!

Awesome! well done Ellie. You looked fab.

At least you weren't one of those parents who refuse to let their kid believe in Father Christmas at all. My brother reckons if he had a kid he'd tell him about it from the start. What a f**king joyless, magicless childhood that kid'll have.

From personal experience I agree with this. I'm sure most people feel grateful that their parents created this fun and magical time for them, rather than feel betrayed and lied to.

Which of the three Ellie's you could see by the time I turned up looked the best, though? ;)

I saw him on pint 2 so I'm sure he could see me straight then!

Definitely. I can't imagine anyone really remains feeling betrayed once they have a bit of perspective on it.

3 stone? That's bloody impressive.

Well done Ellie!! :) :) :)

Hey all,

I'm going to take a break from the site for a while... coincides pretty well with the fact I'm off to Holland for the weekend.

Anyway, my first break from here in 3.5 years (that wasn't a holiday).

Hope to see you all at some point.

Bye for now.

Ellie

HEY WAIT WHAT.

Come back soon Ellie! We will miss you!

This morning I was walking down the steps to an Underground station wondering what the time was. I was about to look at my watch then thought, "Does it really matter? I'm either going to be at work on time or late. Time's just a construct anyway."

It was at that moment that I tripped down the last two steps and had to do that 'pretending to break into a jog' thing that fools nobody. I figure it was the Universe's way of reminding me that, like it or not, I'm part of this thing they call 'the human experience'.
