Radio Sitcoms Page 2

Interesting point about the lack of radio scripts on the net!

Dave Cohen (who gave us that comedy writing Q&A for our last writers newsletter) uses radio scripts in his course. After having spotted this thread he told me he was going to talk to BBC Writers Room about getting some published on there.

The BBC is obviously a pretty slow moving beast so I doubt anything will immediately popup but do stay tuned David as you've started the ball rolling :)

Would it be a bit of a coup for BSG to get published writers to give permission for you to host classic sitcom scripts?

I'd love to - I think there's some copyright issues that'd hold us back though (obviously the Writers Room doesn't have this problem as they own the scripts) but you never know I suppose!

Yes Mark that's good news about Writers Room maybe having a few classic radio scripts available! Well done Mate! :)
