Kick Ass

Bit disapointed. Lots of funny stuff and good scenes but the whole thing didn't hold together for me.

Wasn't Wanted a comic written by the same guy who wrote Kick Ass? That's probably a better film.

Kickass was excellent, and you are wrong. Or stupid. Or both.

Wanted was an amazing comic it was meant to be about amoral supervillains and star Eminem.

The film was offal.

And you're easily impressed or fancy Jonathon Ross's missus or both.

Wasn't bad just lots of disparate stuff that didn't kinda gel.

The whole feel of the comic book, where Kick Ass was kinda a nerd psychopath was lost.

I enjoyed the film. It was high-octane trash directed by an insane Russian, whereas Kick Ass was directed by Matthew Yawn, the dullest Englishman you're ever likely to meet.

However, both Wanted and Kick Ass suffer from the same worrying lack of morality. Take away the masturbatory fetishistic violence and there's nothing else there.

You are in no way qualified to make that remark until you attend a BCG meet.

I can think of at least two interesting things about you. ;)

Apocalypto. That's 2 hours I'll never get back.

I quite liked, it's idiotic and patronising and a lousy bit of Christian propaganda.

But it looks great and is beautifully made as well as being a maddeningly pacy thriller with a killer ticking clock.

The fight scene looked like something from Xena.

I liked it. Very exciting. Especially the climatic jungle chase.
