This is one of my favourite pictures. Is there a way of removing the reflections on the glass?

Image

Don't use flashgun when taking photo through glass, and if possible fit a polarised filter and rotate it for minimum reflection.

http://www.gimp.org/

Is a free alternative to Paint Shop Pro. Although I'm not sure if it works on Windows?

Yes there are Windows version of GIMP.

Yes. Sorry to harp on about gorillas, but their eyes are totally human (muman). They genuinely look like a guy wearing a furry suit. Especially when they get up and wander around. They're actually pretty disturbing and surreal.

Just been watching King Kong.

Very good Gorilla impersonation or animation (bit difficult to tel which nowadays)

WAtched the real Gorilla program last week.

You Got to love that pic. Not sure what you can do about the glass but it looks good anyway.

I dated a fella looked just like him once.

Ah. More tricky.
Not a lot can be done with such a photo once it has that whited out area.

So you have to position your camera when taking it to minimise the reflections. The difficult thing is we are so used to the reflections as humans we often don't realise that they are there until too late.

A polarising filter will help, or if you have polarized sun glasses try taking the photo through one of the sunglasses lens & rotate it for minimum reflections visible.

Nice pic Nat :)

It could be done in Photoshop but would be a lot of work to remove it all.
