Doctor Who Page 3

How about the Comic Relief Doctor Who with Rowan Atkinson and the 1st female Doctor, Joanna Lumley. I have been a fan of the doctor since the '70s and my fav is Tom Baker. Douglas Adam's episode City Of Death is one of my favs.

I loved the Comic Relief Doctor Who thing :D

Colin Baker was the first doctor that I saw. I always remembered 'Terror of The Vervoids' from the 'Trial of A Timelord' season. I actually think Sylvester McCoy was a very good doctor and had some great stories - Ghostlight, Survival, Curse of Fenric, Greatest Show In The Galaxy. Tom Baker was the best doctor though - City of Death, Pyramids of Mars, Talons of Weng Chiang are such masterpieces. Not that keen on the new series - I really didn't like Ecclestone's goofy faces that he used to pull and I feel the show has been deliberately camped up these days as opposed to the old days when it could be quite camp but unknowingly. That's my two pence anyway!

I pretty much agree with your 2p so that makes it 4p then! :)

McCoy was great and had some terrific stories, its not his fault he was the doctor when the show was cancelled, when people werent interested any more, or that he had to put up with rubbish eighties effects and lighting. His first season was shit, but his second two were among the best the show has ever produced. Apart from Silver Nemesis. That was crap. I am a Doctor Who geek, I can only apologise.

I probably watched all of McCoy, cos I was the right age. But I can remember Colin Baker and Davison too (the best one).
I remember really liking Ace. And being a bit scared of McCoy.

Oh i love Silver Nemesis! It's got some funny moments in it!

When the man from the past, Richard, sees Llama's for the first time and says "what creatures are these?! They will eat us!".

Then there's the two skinheads who get attacked by Lady Peinfold and Richard a.k.a "Social workers".

Ok, I dont really hate it, I dont think I hate any, even the ones that are genuinly rubbish, but compared to others in the last two series it stands out as a poor one. So lets discuss better things, like Ghost Light, and Greatest Show-and Fenric! Classics all!!

Like Frankie I remember the first episode. They repeated it the second week and went back to Caveman times. It seemed extremely realistic to me then.

I think these charidee thinks are always a bit naff, personally. And it must be TARDISes, I would have thought, as it's an acronym (Time And Relative Dimension/s In Space)

I believe it was The Master who owned another, chameleonic TARDIS. But there may have been more. Presumably The Master's got blown up along with Gallifrey.

Why do I know this rubbish? I've never even watched that much Dr. Who. Too much random Wikipedia reading, I think.

Laura may cut herself.

Probably.

i've seen most of the doctor whos since tom baker.
the recent ones are brilliant in my opinion. the one with the weeping angels was great.

As far as I can make out, its already been anounced that Tennant is in the next series, the three specials the following year and at least some of the next series the following year. I think Tate has said that to keep audiences and fans guessing and excited about what might be coming, unless when they announced all the other stuff Ive just mentioned they were lying.

Shhh.

Everything is fine.

He's going to be The Doctor forever.

*rocks back and forth*

he *has* to be The Doctor forever! *weeps*
