Thats because Harry Potter is too young to drink :P

Nah, more because drinking is stupid - and f**king expensive. :P

Fern Cotton - this years alternate to Sue Cook - doing her best to bring a touch of the playground to the show with brilliant and constant soundbites like 'brilliant'.

Anybody who wishes to kill her will have my undying gratitude.

Yeah Baumski raises a good point. People who go on Children In Need should not be able to plug their new stuff. They should do what they are best known for e.g. greatest hits.

I donate huge amounts (comparitive to my situation) to the government every month and hope that the money I'm 'donating' is in fact being used wisely... Apart from 'pence' I don't have much left to donate to charities directly. But I give a few pence here and there.

I don't feel that there should be any 'children in need' anywhere in the world, given the vast wealth and resources of this planet and the huge amount of taxes 'donated' by the people of the world to their so-called 'governments' ('government' of course being a euphemism for 'robbing bastards')

Will we ever get a fair World? Will all children everywhere ever be treated fairly and be given a fair chance to achieve their potential in a safe and loving environment?

After living on this planet for the best part of 50 years I have to say, no they won't.

Aaron - spelling and puntuation guru! - on a lighter note where should I put the full-stop in this example:

...robbing bastards.) OR ...robbing Tory bastards).

Which is correct?

??? ;)

Since we're under a champagne-socialist dictatorship at present, neither. But for the purposes of your education, the full stop should be after the closing bracket, as the sentence began before the opening one.

Rolling eyes

Foolish boy.

I love this site!

Fiona Bruce in Mini Skirt. I enjoyed that. THe buzzcocks thing was awful Dr Who thing was utter rubbish the Tardis crashing into itself coz had no sheild come on talk some f**king sense. What else oh Fern Cotton I come to the conclusion is annoying but I still would.

Shurrup you! Doctor was ace. :)

Fern Cotton is bloody annoying I agree. But I actually did like what she was wearing. The colours were yum. She looked like a Quality Street.

I only watched the Dr Who bit, then like any sensible person got on with something better! Apparently the few minutes the Who bit was on was watched by about three million more people than the rest of the show! They should have just had that on all night with some kid popping up every half hour asking for money.

Sh*t - I was looking forward to seeing her. She rarely disappoints and I missed her again!

And when I moaned about it a couple of weeks before you all slagged me off.

I can see it now.

"Please donate to children in need. If we don't make enough tonight, Mr. Wogan says he will beat us and set fire to our teddies"......

I've never been a fan of Children in Need because I hate the false jolity of it all. "Aren't we having such an amazingly entertaining evening everyone" .... "er, no".

Anyway, did anyone see it. If so, is there anything worth watching back? I guess I can find clips on YouTube of anything that actually was good. Oh yeah, did Sybil Fawlty indeed make an appearance in the end?
