Celebs you've met that were very friendly Page 7

The Arctic Monkeys (I used to go out with the bassist's brother), were all dead lovely, but that was before their second (shit) album.

They've always come across as whinging Northerners to me. I used to vaguely know a girl who went out with the singer for a bit. She's engaged to one of Kings of Leon now. It's fair to say she likes her musicians.

Ah well they used to be very nice when I met them. I met various members 4 or 5 times over the space of about a year I think. Was good 'cause I got backstage festival passes.

Jason Manford seemed pretty cool. And Steve Edge seems a top geezer too.

I met this fella at a sporting event I was asked to photograph.
This is one of the pictures I took of him & he was very nice.
His name be Sir Randolph Fiennes.

I also worked with Chris Tarrant. He was Joseph at the Windsor Theatre & I was also in the show. He was a mean moother fooker though.

I spotted Ginger Spice at a petrol station but I hate the Spice Girls so ignored her. She did smile at me though & the corners of my mouth went up back. Much to my dismay.

I had a breast autographed by Phil Collins. (Not a hguge fan of him but as long as your breathing I will get my baps out).

Lulu hit the back of my heel with her trolley at Heathrow once.

Thats about it I am sad to say.

Had a fag with Lucy Porter a couple of years ago on a pilot Ed Byrne show. I've heard she gets pissed off with everyone saying how nice she is but she just is.

Also my missus had a splitting headache from laughter after a Lee Evans gig, and she mentioned it to him while he gave her his autograph. He ran off to his changing room and returned a little while later with some paracetamol tablets for her.

Oh and Rufus Hound kindly tweeted my Kung Fu Farting YouTube vid, so he's nice too in my book.

And Graham Norton sent me a handwritten letter about ten years ago, responding politely to a sitcom script I'd sent him. So he's nice.

And now I'm struggling. Onto celebrity wankers then... oh so many. Hah. I jest. Or do I? ;)

please!

It was way back in around 1984/1985. I was 13 or 14 (Was a lickle singer in it). It was Joseph & the Tech dreamcoats at Windsor theatre. Joe Brown was the previous Joseph & had just left & dickhead had taken over.
He was just miserable & hated signing autographs & moaned & this was all before millionaire. He is more likely a bigger cock now that he is a bigger star.
I told him he was a cock too. :)

Bravo for Charley! And a custard pie with shit in it for Tarrant.

I've always wanted to go backstage at the Theatre Royal.

I've always wanted to go backstage at the Theatre Royal.

Do it then lovely.
Just go to a show & run off back stage! Wave

I met Stewart Lee after his show at Taunton's brewhouse last November and after I joked to him that I wanted an apology because I should have won 'King of the Show' on an episode of This Morning With Richard & Not Judy years ago for a cress website that I made he gave me a CD of one of his radio shows. Granted he probably thought I was genuinely upset and just wanted to get rid of me but this was still a lovely gesture. Richard Herring also seemed like a nice guy in person - very genuine and humble.

OOoh yes Richard Herring was lovely when I met him after a gig in Newcastle. Very sweet, even though he was knackered and full of man flu!

Ricky Gervais - Lovely man, had the pleasure of meeting him twice. Once in New York, the other in London.

Larry David - I actually made him laugh. I say laugh, I made him smile. Can't remember what I said though. Nice man.

David Beckham - Respectful, polite, very nice man.

Nick Lyndhurst - Very shy, very quiet.

Jose Mourinho - Grumpy, but I still like him, because he's just brilliant.

I never knew he dressed to the left.

(God I must be bored)
