I've just fainted for the first time in my life and have wacked my head and back against my bookcase. Don't know if I should be concerned or not.

Yes.
There's normally a reason why one faints. Go to your GP. Otherwise it may happen next time you're behind the wheel.

Had you just stood up quickly? Or not eaten for a while?
Not really concerned about the fainting (I think I got up too fast and the blood rushed to my head), what's worrying me is that my head took a bit of a bang and that can have very dangerous after effects.

Oh, that's alright then.
Still, if it happens again. I'd go sooner, rather than later to get it checked out.

Often associated with an overdose of Dale Winton. Have you been watching re-runs of Supermarket Sweep?

Hmmm, I'd definitely go to the school nurse.

Kinky. Maybe explains the loss of blood to the brain?

Yeah, if it happens again, I'll be off to the GP.
