didn't know that

Quote: Nat Wicks @ August 23 2010, 10:56 AM BST

Haha, well if I was to be there (still unlikely!) I would be there from the Friday anyway. I go to London a fair bit so I know it okay- plus I stayed in that area in college (actually visited the pub, so my homing pigeon instincts will kick in !). Chars for the offer :D

Civilisation?

BEHAVE.

I hope it is'nt a long bloody walk. I don't do walking.
So at Euston I get the what line & I get off at where?

Actually, looking at the tubes, I'm going to have some serious trouble getting between my two hotels D: Can someone who has a clue about London buses plan my journey between Waterloo and Tate Modern?

[Dunno if these links to London Transport Planner actually work for anyone other than the person (me) that did the search.

Oh RATS.

You have to start at:

http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en

and type in your own start and end point.

Scroll down to tick the methods of transport.

End point you need is "Anchor Bankside" a "place of interest"

Since I'm coming from Trafalgar Square around 5pm-6pm I think I'll take the riverboat as that will be more fun.

I wonder if my OAP travel pass includes river boats.

No way are you an OAP Bill? :O

No he's not. He's just smashing. Glasses mainly.

How do they know?

If your covered in soot, then Londoner.

And walk like a cockney.

Oi are you calling me a slut?

And I meant OAP Londoner.

Quote: zooo @ September 15 2010, 3:14 PM BST

And walk like a cock.

Exactly. In Streatham, I'm always to be found doing the Lambeth Walk.

Are you not coming John?

I was looking forward to us all gathering round for a few Pub Impressions later on.
