Did he get less than an ordinary shmoe would? And it was a victimless crime. Sort of. I could work up a head of steam if he'd glassed a kitten, or punched a nuns face in.

He did. I don't think that a particularly short sentence for this sort of crime though, is it?
And he was fined £1,250 and banned for 5 years.
Oh actually.. "Michael will serve four weeks in prison, with the rest of his sentence spent out on licence under the supervision of the probation service." A normal would have to spend the whole whack in prison.

Probably not. The jails are heaving and they use any excuse not to send someone nowadays. You could probably brutally murder and sodomise several people and still not get a custodial sentence.

I haven't, but has anyone on here been done for drink driving (if you did, what did you get?)..............
