With a £10,000 budget what is your next sketch going to be?
Diagnosis. Page 4
I'd do something about cats and outerspace. And maybe dragons. Featuring Noel Edmunds.
Kill Noel Edmunds
Add jokes later.
I'll feed him to the catdragon.
Quote: Mr Ashdown @ September 14 2010, 3:32 PM BSTGP: We've got to...
(MRS NESBIT LEANS IN)
GP: BURN ALL OF YOUR CATS!
MRS NESBIT: Even ... Prince Meowington?
GP: ESPECIALLY Prince Meowington.
MRS NESBIT NODS, WIPES AWAY A TEAR, EXITS.
THE GP LOOKS TO HIS LEFT. WE SEE A GIANT MOUSE, STOOD UPRIGHT, CASUALLY MUNCHING ON A TRIANGLE OF CHEESE.
GP: Did I do good?
Yeah, this was funny, concise and well written - you planning on filming it?
And Bussell's ending is my favourite extended

I'm sure I will be. Just need to find a camcorder and some friends. Give me a few years.
Nats,
what can I say that hasn't already been said? It's a great sketch, it's got legs and there is a lot of potential for different scenarios / punches.
I'm looking forward to the next one.
Thanks Angie
I like it as well.
And it works fine just as it is.
Good stuff.
Hooray!
Quote: Chappers @ September 14 2010, 2:41 PM BSTHow about the Doctor gives her a wheelie bin?
That is funny.
Quote: David Bussell @ September 14 2010, 2:56 PM BSTVery nice first sketch, Nat!
I prefer it with the lighter ending myself. It might also, as an experiment, be worth trying a version adding in Mr Ashdown's dimension - that the doctor persuading her to give up cats has one sat on his lap...
PATIENT:
But you have a cat right there!DOCTOR:
This cat is for recreational purposes only - I can stop whenever I want.
Perfect Ending.
Well written Sketch Nat. I agree with Sooty that it ended abruptly.
I felt it needed a stronger punch.
Loved Davids & Ashdowns is it with the giant mouse.
Very well done Nat.
