Pope Benedict's visit

So the Pope is coming to the UK what do we all think?

On the one hand he seems to be getting a bit of a monstering in the press. He wasn't a Nazi, ok he was forced to join the Hitler Youth when he was 14. But he was in an antiaircraft battery and ran away as quickly as possible.

As pope he has tried to handle the paedophile scandals. And they're not much worse than those that plagued Barnardos and social services etc in the 60s nd 70s. (albiet not as head of the congregation of the faithful).

On the flip side he's rehabilitated nazi sympathisers, is trying to split the anglican church and he's wrong on condoms.

So what do peopl think?

He's a tit.

I don't mind him coming. Although he's not as cool and rock n roll as the last pope.

I do mind how much it's costing.

I don't think we should for one second be paying for his visit. F**k 'im.

Honestly he might preffer that to the visit.

I'm annoyed it's messing up my travel in London, and I'm not going to even see him.

Where's he going to be? He'd better not get in the way of my Oxford Street shopping.

He's coming to the meet.
