To my mind there's a lot more to a parody than exactly copying the style of the show, and the incredibly lo-fi way in which this was filmed is all part of its charm. If anyone has any constructive criticism of the actual material and why it's such a bad parody then fair enough. Otherwise I'm beginning to believe that we are unwanted intruders to some kind of comedy snob clique. If you're offended by that I'm sorry, but I think I reserve the right to be honest in the circumstances!
I honestly think you've got it wrong; this is a surprisingly friendly bunch on here. I'm a comedy spastic, and I haven't been chased off yet!
I haven't watched the video, but to me it seems that posters are critiquing the whole package, and seeing as the comments are mainly about the setup and style of the video it's safe to say that it's an issue. The way you set and film a piece should go a long way to supporting the context- and if you're parodying a show genre, you should go as close to the real thing as possible.
I'll have at doing a non-writer's critique if I can get my laptop to play the video. But really, the critiques on here are always honest if not bang on.
