My dad had no clue.
And one of my favourites of Connor:
Sorry they're small. I can't get them to resize.

No, seriously that was just it. No photo manipulation.
I edit about 30% of my pictures. You have to really. I can make teeth pearly white & eyelashes long etc etc. Photo editing is a fantastic tool.
I have photo shop - I have no idea how to use it. Likewise Final Cut Express But I will learn, FCE anyway.

How much extra did you add on levels? any chance of original?
Not from this PC but I will seek it out on our main PC at some point.
I have a feature in my photo software (I use elements & paint shop pro) that allows you to age pictures. I aged this to 1960's then just added a little more saturation & hue along with a tad more of the clarifying tool. Hey presto.
I am still learning it all. I need to go on a course on photo editing really as I barely know the basics.
I just piss about with it until I am happy with the effect.
Like these for eg...
Oh, you clever git.

I've just ordered some photo paper to make passport photos for all of us, but I see there are some pretty strict rules to adhere to. Has anyone taken their own passport photos and if so, what tips have you got?
Don't hold up a sign saying
"I'm Herman Hess catch me if you can."

Full face, no spectacles, plain light background. & a specific size of the print.
I tried doing my own last time & the post office droid would not accept it though it matched all those requirements she thought the paper was 'funny'. So I had to go next door to a photo shop & get one done (with of course a silly expression on my face).
Next time needed to show a photo for an application I used the same rejected photo but first laminated it and cropped it so you could not see that it was laminated. The same droid accepted it.
