I suppose.

It's all the wiry hair that's putting me off though.

Ew, won't be searching for 'black bear' again on Google. Endless pics of fat bastards with guns proudly standing over some poor bear they've just shot in the face.
Nice.

That ends up as a rug on someone's floor. :)

The hunts are well-regulated in order to avoid overpopulation and I'm sure they aren't shooting bears in the face as that would ruin the trophy aspect of the hunt.

It is still unpleasant when one is expecting nice beautiful animals in the wild pics.

Robyn's day was meh.

Robyn's day was meh.

So was Nat's.

What happened to your Japanese food!? :(

What happened to your Japanese food!? :(

We'd bought a voucher thing for it, but then got a text from the restaurant saying they were in dispute with the website, so weren't honouring any vouvhers :( I'll get a refund, but I'm super miffed about it. SULK.

Why so meh, kitten pie?

Robyn's day was meth.

Crazy drug addled kids.

Because I did loads of helping out, without it really seeming like anyone cared. I even did the organiser's speech when she didn't turn up. I just feel like I made fool of myself.

No one thanks you for saving them from making a fool of themselves.

Be satisfied you did the right things.

(in most faiths the unrecognised good deed is the most blessed)

Or as the graffiti sez

"Doing the right thing is like pissing yourself in black trousers, you get a warm feeling but no one notices."

I'm sure you didn't at all seem a fool. Sometimes when people are preoccupied (with organising an event, for example) they fail to see past what they're doing, and miss peoples' loveliness.

I'm sure you rocked hard, and were (quietly) appreciated.

I talked a LOT and made a lot of stupid jokes. I tend to get very loud and mental when nervous.

I do exactly the same thing. I bet you beat yourself up over it after, too. Truth is, no one ever notices you're overcompensating. You're the only one who can tell.

It was just the nature of it, too. I had to go and speak to everyone so I ended up feeling intrusive, but hopefully it was ok!

I'm sure you were fine. Now stop worrying! I know from experience that these things are never as bad as you think. And you know, seeing as we have the same brain, I feel that I can speak for you too :P
