Can't wait for series 3 of The Mighty Boosh? Page 4

come on you f mothers. i want to discuss eels.
zooo wake up!

Didn't disappoint - as good as ever. The strongest stuff for me comes when Vince and Howard are both in the same scene and exchanging banter. Such as when Howard was trying to convince Vince about his elbow patches. Laughing out loud

Wish they'd get rid of the moon though. Never found that skit funny and still don't.

i agree. i like the directions their coversations take. like the dialogue about leroy going skiing on his own. brilliant.
the songs do it for me though. they give it that extra dimension.
we're super magic men. we stay up til 5am.

i thought this episode was a bit more adult than other episodes. i watched it with my 7 year old and there was the odd scene which was a bit uncomfortable. maybe thats why its on at 10.30

I loooooooved it!!

There were a few swear words, which is nice. At least your 7 yr old's learning from the best.
I didn't even recognise Rich Fulcher for a few seconds.

The only thing is I seem to be going off pink blob (Tony Harrison I think he's called). Ayoade is still fantastic though.

I LOVE the shop. It looks amazing, and it's all really stylish - the rain and the street outside the shop when the Hitcher came in was beautiful.

And most importantly, it made me laugh loads. Hurrah!

i play the cds in the car on the way to school. my kids often go into school singing "shoot your face off". which i kind of like.
my 7 year old taught a boy in her class all the words from Calm a llama down.

i love tony harrison. and ayoade. in fact i really like the whole shamen gang thing. the way they behave like lads on a real stag was funny.

its shows like that this that make me feel sad when they are over and i have to wait a whole week for the next one. sopranos did that to me.

You cleft Laughing out loud

Yeah I thought it was good but I also have the feeling the rest of the series is going to be better. I wonder which episode is going to be the 'Ballad of Milky Joe' episode for this series i.e. the best one
:)

milky joe was close to tv perfection for me.

Fair enough, it worked for Terry Jones in Python.

:O

<mere words fail me..>

And Ricky Gervais in, well, anything.

Re: The Boosh.. Having no telly is really frustrating, I haven't seen it yet.. I may have to resort to internet then.. They are getting great reviews everywhere too! That's nice to see, something that actually is worth raving about rather than most of the 'mediocrity' that gets classed as 'great' by the pundits in the press (and on here too.. ;))

Up The Boosh, I say! Laughing out loud

As wacky and random as ever! I enjoyed it overall though. It looks like they make things up as they go along, but really a lot of work goes into it with all those sub-stories being tied up at the end.

Does anyone else think that Julian looks like a white Snoop DD? Especially when he was dancing in the hat?

That's the point I was struggling to put into words earlier. They just do that sort of thing so well. Loved the way that particular conversation kept going off on tangents.

Rich Fulcher was ace too.

Yes! It's been said many a time. He's aware of it too.

Rich Fulcher was amaaazing as a woman.

Apparently episode two is miles better even than 1.

Before glancing at your avatar just then, I'd not even thought of it before. Uncanny.
