Satnav sketch

Middle age man walks out of his house and gets into his car. As he prepares himself in the driver seat he turns on his Satellite navigation system and types in his desired destination. He starts the car and sets off.

Satnav: turn left at next junction

The man turns left

Satnav: Drive straight on for 1.3 miles

The man continues driving

Satnav: turn right at next junction.

The man turns right

Satnav: oh……hang on……. it might have been left actually.

I like this as an opener to a number of sketches - with the SatNav having a personality. Perhaps it says inappropriate things to the passengers in the car, etc., which we are just waiting for each sketch.

Sorry to say Man Stroke Woman have done similar a while back. Nevertheless technology always provides good scope for comedy - keep it going.

What if you pull back to reveal the voice is from a robot sat in the back seat?

I like that ... I think the effect would even be better if that robot is trying to read a map.

With the map upside down!

Yer that would be funny! :)

I think I remember the Man Stroke Woman sketches - I saw a few. They were poor stroke awful, I seem to recall. Love the robot idea.
