Does he actually die? I can't remember. I'm sure Dennis Quaid survived in the so-so remake.
Quote: chipolata @ September 7 2010, 10:50 AM BSTI think Kaufman arses about with structure in Syendoche too, although I haven't seen that.
It may count as non-traditional story-telling but Synendoche is bloody dull. Much as I love Being John Malkovitch and Adaptation, it was just too indulgent, with no real drama, as such.
Quote: Kevin Murphy @ September 7 2010, 10:40 AM BSTTime travel flicks are good for this, notably Millenium and Primer.
And Timecrimes.

Ah, that's very good. And being remade with Tom Cruise in the lead.

The lead in the original is kind of fat and unnatractive, so of course they get Tom Cruise for the remake.

Perhaps he'll get made up like he did in that Jack Black/Downey Jr pic.
Triangle also has nice mobius strip plotting.

That's the only thing that has ever made me even a little tiny bit like Tom Cruise. Most of the time I think he's a complete bellend.

He's excellent in Collateral.
Yes, he's had his moments has Cruise. Very good in Magnolia.
Oh he's very good in things. But he's always a bellend.

He taught me to respect the cock; I never did before that movie.

Oh, I understand the distinction now. Well he is a Scientologist. That can't help his bell-endiness.

Your own or...etc.

He does in the original not sure about the remake.
