Will you be buying Tony Blair's book? Page 3

Read a book written by a man too stupid to realise that war might be a bit unpleasant? No thanks.

I for one have absolutely no interest what-so-ever in any thing that Blair has to say. I will not buy this book and I won't read any extracts in papers etc. I think there should be a bar on politicians selling their parliamentary stories.

I won't either. And I think anyone who brings it up on here is just fuelling the publicity!

If it can be proved 100% that he's not making a single penny out of this book then I'll eat my words but this is a man who made a £20 million personal profit since the Iraq War, I think it's highly unlikely that he's written this book for charitable reasons alone.

The fact that he's earned tens of millions from speaking engagements and consulting work make it all the less likely that he'll shoot himself in the foot by reneging on his promise to give all the book's money to charity. I'm no fan of the guy but I'm willing to take him at his word.

Blair's book should be pulped and made into eco house bricks and given to the Iraq people so they can rebuild their homes.

What a f**king crook. He used to be a unifying force in centre-left politics. Look at him now - tight face - mad staring eyes like a TV evangelist, agreeing with the 20% VAT hike. What a sad excuse of a socialist.

He's not giving ALL the money from the book to charity at all

Appears to be all the money from everything I've seen and read. Can you give a source that states otherwise?

And I like your notion that Blair has a conscience!

Interestingly Mein Kampf is still on sale and has made profits in the 10s of millions.

But no charity or relative of Hitler will accept the funds.

*urgently begins tracing family tree*

Cynic is just another word for realist.

This.

I have the same editor/publisher

Burn him.

Yeah, primarily to fuel his massive ego and give some sense of validation to his pitiful existence.

Why all the hatred for Blair? I wouldn't mind reading his book, but have too many in my queue at the minute. Must get Campbell's diaries too!

I totally agree, I should be beaten with William Hague's advisor!

I'm going to buy the book once I've climbed mount Kilimanjaro, invented a rival fuel to petrol, deigned a fault free magic carpet and eaten five dodo eggs. Oh!! And obviously if I have the cash!!

Laughing out loud High Five! :D

'If Chins Could Kill'

Like a Simpsons character, Matt Stott does not possess a chin.

Tony Blair is a c**t. Please do not buy his book!

PS. If anyone on here does buy it then you will no longer be my best friend. That means I will NOT want to marry you or have your babies anymore...... Fankoo *bows*

He frightens me. I don't like his mad staring eyes, or his grin/grimace.
