Meat.......or beet? Page 24

Shock horror - I've enjoyed vegetarianism so much I've decided to stick with it.

I have decided I will eat meat in social occasions if it will be awkward not to.

Why be so strict though? That's what I don't really get. Why not have a bit of chicken if the fancy takes you? Or a bit of lamb if you so desire? Why decide just not to eat any meat at all? I don't GET IT!!! Raaarrrghghgh!?!?!?!

Then again, it's your decision, none of my business, and all that jazz.

Particularly as she's not doing it for ethical reasons.

I have considered giving up meat. I have also considered setting fire to my testicles. I shall do neither.

I'm hardly being strict if I eat it when the social occasion requires me to. I just a) like the healthy part of it and b) Just enjoy being veggie.

Your latest photo shows how being a veggie has improved you, keep it up.

Looks like the bin cat lady.

If Ellie had read the small print on the couscous she would have known that:

'Prolonged vegetarianism can lead to hate campaign lookylikey syndrome (oh, and make your shit stink)'

I am the cat bin lady.

I'm still baffled by anti-Vegetarianism. Is it because meat-eaters (I'm one) feel that veggies are sometimes being sanctimonious?

I'm not anti-veggie. I just can't understand why people wouldn't want to eat a nice juicy steak. It's a natural instinct.

Will Cam will now tactically withdraw before the veggies get him with all that ethical stuff (really he needs to get some housework done before Mrs Will Cam comes home for dinner, otherwise he will be given a list tomorrow).

I understand if people are vegetarian because they feel bad about eating animals. It can seem a bit masochistic if it's not for that reason, though.

But we all know Ellie's a bit of a dirty masochist. ;)

Pah! I say, pah!

I bought a cheese burger from a swimming pool cafe today. The cheese was a rubber cheese slice. My other half had a cheese and onion bap which had real grated cheese! What a f**king liberty!

What is there to 'enjoy' about being a vegetarian? Or any sort of dietary choice?
