For the last few years I've been collecting in-flight safety manuals and wondering what I was ever going to do with them. I've seen people monkey with them for comedy effect before (most notably in Fight Club) but I've never seen anyone impose a narrative on one, so here goes...
Terror on Flight 309
It's very professionally done and I could picture it being on a Tshirt worn by a drunk twat.
But there's a certain mystique missing, I'm also sure I've seen something similar before?
Maybe if you did it with someweirder material? Also the cocaine and parachute thing break the rhythmn of the fart gag.
Maybe if you turned your mighty skills on a Jack Chic tract/
I'm sure I've seen something like this before, but just can't put my finger on it.

Yay, my first drunk twat T-Shirt material!
I don't feel that the cocaine/parachute bits break the narrative rhythm - they're character actions directly influenced by the central crisis of the story (or fart).

Ah, see I've seen a few of those in the past but didn't realise there was a website dedicated to them.
A mentally dysfunctional sequence of brain-gibber it may be, but in my defence, it's not easy imposing a narrative on a sequence of instructional diagrams. Probably with good reason.
Just saw plane gremlin, ace Twilight Zone gag.
N.B. please stick it to Jack Chic, please....
Just did a little narrative/artistic edit to iron out some kinks.
Isn't Jack Chick just for religious tracts, Soots?
I like it David. Have seen similar things before as others have said. But some good gags in there.
Having built some Ikea furniture recently I thought that this sort of thing could have be done with their instruction manual.

Thanks, bigfella.
You should give it a go with the Ikea manual, what have got to lose except hours upon hours of your life?

Well yeh, but I mean the same idea of substituting new text in the speech bubbles.
Maybe one on people going to hell because of wasting time on comedy forums?

Funny as it is, Jack Chick is someone else's kiddie. I want to be unoriginal in my own way.
Yeh loads of people take the piss out of him already.
I think the astral travelling and gremlin stuff raised it above the run-of-the mill stuff on the websites people have linked, but maybe trying to impose a narrative on these (somewhat) random images is a bit of a stretch.
Maybe. Fun experiment though.
I really liked it. Maybe I've just lived a very sheltered life, but I actually haven't seen that done before.
